Microist: Give Your Status for a Cause

On March 20, 2012, Ecorazzi is holding our first #MicroistDay benefiting Water.org. On this day, we will dedicate our entire social media influence to spread the word about the water crisis, the solutions, and the work of Water.org to create safe and sustainable access to water for the nearly one billion people without it.

In order to make an even larger impact, we are forming a team of individuals and businesses that want to join us. Be a micro-activist with us and join us to be a Microist on March 20!

Gulf Restoration Network

Founded in 1994, Gulf Restoration Network works to unite and empower people to protect and restore the natural resources of the Gulf of Mexico region.

They have taken on issues such as global warming, restoring healthy waters, saving at risk species, protecting wetlands from reckless development and preserving the fish in the Gulf. While the Gulf of Mexico provides food, jobs and recreation to millions, people need to be mindful of depleting this resource too quickly without giving it a chance to regenerate and sustain itself.

Donations fund activities like fighting to implement federal environmental laws, educating decision-makers about issues facing the Gulf and helping them make choices to create a healthy future for The Gulf of Mexico and organizing citizens and organizations to advocate for better environmental practices in the Gulf Region.

Microist, a project of Ecorazzi, LLC, is a a Florida state registered nonprofit under the fiscal sponsorship of The Miami Foundation, a federally registered 501(c)3 community foundation. Under the Internal Revenue Code, community foundations are authorized to administer funds on behalf of approved and registered nonprofits. These nonprofits are tax-exempt under the IRS’ determination letter to The Miami Foundation and, thus, the tax-exempt status of the Microist Project is established on the basis of the IRS’ determination letter to The Miami Foundation, Inc. All contributions to Microist are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
